Project Description:
This project aims to increase the income generation potential of women and families through business training and access to capital. It will provide business and microenterprise consulting, training and small loans to poor, indigenous women to raise their level of household income and well-being.
Indigenous women in this region have very low income levels. Many of these women are single mothers. Raising their ability to manage their small enterprises and increase their household incomes will have very positive results for family health and education.
This is a five-year project.
